Artist's Comments

I thought a new account warranted a proper self introduction, of sorts. It's always good to know the person behind the art I think!

Hello, my name is Kiki and this is my current deviantART account. I was born on the 21st of October 1990, which makes me 18 years old. I live in Tasmania, Australia. As an Australian citizen 18 years of age I am legally an adult and henceforth allowed to work, drive, have sex, drink alcohol, gamble, vote, sign for myself and a plethora of other things that are less interesting.

Currently I attend university, or college as Americans term it. I am a part time student, taking two units in Japanese as it is my passion in life. In the future I hope I can work with Japanese people in tourism and I hope to work in Japan at some point in my life.

To balance the fact that I only do half a load at university, I have just started a part-time job at a local supermarket! I'm excited to be working for the first time in my life!

I am part of a family of three, entailing my mother, my younger brother and myself. My family is also very fond of pets, we have 4 cats and 2 big dogs and wouldn't have it any other way!

In my free time I hang out with my friends (*cough~Moonlitsu=AtlanteanTiger*) or my wonderful boyfriend. I love watching anime, listening to good music, researching quirky stuff, playing games suited to someone with such a high level of uncoordination as I seem to have, reading, watching tv and of course, drawing.

[link] My animelist account details all the anime I have seen and enjoyed! If you also like anime and think you can recommend me something based on what I have already watched feel free to do so!

Likewise, I keep track of my music at [link] and if you can think of any music you think I might like I'd be happy to give it a listen via youtube or something!

I also have a strange habit of collecting things. In real life, I have a collection of bread tags (the little plastic things that seal bags of bread closed) Pocky boxes, ramune bottles, plush toys, pokemon cards (and pokemon stuff in general, however merch comes at a really high cost so i don't go out of my way to buy it), tic tac boxes, bells and star shaped things (I love making paper stars!). I don't want to expect things of people, but if anyone has any of these things maybe we can do a trade or exchange of some sort? Do you collect anything?

I hope this has been just a little bit informative for you all!

Questions for you! I'm interested to know!

Who are you- How old are you, where do you live.

Do you study anything or what do you do as a job or in your free time? Why?

What are your hobbies?

Do you collect anything?

What genre of music do you like and who is your favourite artist?

Do you like anime/manga, if so what is your favourite and why?

Is there anything else you would like to know about me?

Augh, so cute, I just want to cry!

Uh, you're one of my best friends so you know a great deal about me already LOL.

You know who I am, you know my age, you know where I live. LOL. I actually forget how old I am really.

Uh, I do like to collect bells that catch my eye. I also like to collect figurines and the like, which I think you have noticed! LOL LOL.

You know I don't work XD But I rry love my printmaking course. I'm a full time student, though I only attend TAFE for 2 full days plus 3 hours on Wednesday for my drawing class. FUN FUN.

UH you know what music I like! And you definitely know who my favourite artist is! Ever since hearing that one Ali Project song "Ankoku Psychedelic" I've been in love with their songs. I just think Arika Takarano has an amazing voice and I love to sometimes just concentrate on the music not just the vocals. Particularly in certain songs (like "Hizamazuite Ashi wo Oname" and "Ankoku Tengoku"). I was handed the Ali Pro drug, I took it and I have been taking it ever since.

You also know how much I love Claymore. Actually for once I can almost say that I have a "OMFG NUMBER ONE FAVOURITE ANIME EVERS". But I love a lot of others. Not quite on the same level, but on a level that if I saw DVDs or manga on sale I'd just have some kind of awesome fangirl outburst. You seriously should have seen me when I saw those Claymore DVDs. Steven thought I was going to die. I think I scared some other people too. When I got home I ran around the house screaming happily. HOW COOL AM I?! Uh... you... know why I love Claymore. Well apart from the sexy, I do love the story and the concept. The manga is just so awesome I have a mini happy fit when a new chapter comes out (actually something happened in the latest chapter that made me go "OMFG no way did that just happen!" I cried a little, but from..."I cannot believe that just happened"). At first I was reluctant to take the Claymore drug, but then I did and it was good. So. Very. Good. Claymorgasm please!

I also really enjoyed Witchblade. Not just because of the sexy it provided, but it too had a good story. Though some of it was... a bit creepy. But there were quite a few emotional parts that just made me cry. The end in particular was so sad I just... cried epically. Thinking about it makes me want to cry again. Nyuuuu....

I think that's all.

I think that's the longest comment I've ever typed up. Hmm.
